Cristina Hernandez Díaz is a first-generation producer whose farm, Yulchen — meaning "Between the Stones" — is named after the rocky landscape that shapes the region's cool, ideal coffee-growing climate. She focuses on careful selective picking, multiple harvest passes, and traditional washed processing with sun drying to consistently produce exceptional quality coffee.
As Cristina puts it: "The farm has been our family livelihood and because of the coffee production, we have been able to afford studies for our children." With an annual production of 5,000kg, her dedication to quality and family is reflected in every cup.
